Let's get the ball rolling!

Looking at joining one of our 5 a side leagues, that’s great news! Let’s fill you in on some information before you sign up so you know what to expect. First things first, we want you to enjoy yourselves. To do that, we need you to be playing against teams week in week-out; we expect you to turn up for every fixture.

Match fees

We require a $160 non-refundable commitment fee when you sign up to the league - this amount is allocated to your total league fee. As a team captain you will be responsible for making sure your match fees and player registration are paid and up to date.
A minimum match payment of $80 is to be made at the bar before kickoffs each week, however by the 4th week of the league competition we require that team fees are paid in full. If your team misses a week of payment, the following weeks match will not kick off until all outstanding balances are settled.

Match cancellation policy

Nobody wants to turn up and have no one to play against. Goals Australia is committed to making sure each team gets (and plays) every match it has scheduled all while maintaining the integrity of the league. Failure to show up to a scheduled match will result in a team fine of $80 on top of your total league fee, this amount will be paid to the team who missed out on the match. Fixture times are subject to change, we ask that teams confirm their kick off times by viewing the website weekly.

Player Insurance

Goals Australia are dedicated to providing our players with the best and safest 5 aside pitches in the country. We offer registering teams with the option to cover the entire squad (up to 10 registered players) with the best 'player accident cover' in case of injury for the duration of the season for a flat fee of $80. To do this we need EVERY player in your team to be registered with all of their correct details on file (our insurers cannot cover non-registered players). To be eligible to claim, Goals Australia must be contacted within 72 hours of the injury / incident. **Please note non-Australian residents are ineligible to claim through our insurance.

Team Kits

We ask that all teams make the effort to wear a team kit with the same colour and preferably numbers unique to each player in the squad. If there is a clash of team colours we will provide a set of bibs.

Upon registration we require a $100 non-refundable deposit, this locks your team into the season and will also cover the entire squad of 'registered players' with our player accident cover in case of injury for the duration of the season. The total league team fee will need to be paid by round 2of the league.

To do this we need EVERY player in your team to be registered with all of their correct details on file (our insurers cannot cover non-registered players). *Please note our insurance does NOT cover non-Australian residents.
